Supportive and Palliative Care Fellowship Programme

Objectives

To provide Clinical Fellows with the experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist palliative care within a tertiary hospital, a specialist cancer centre, an in-patient hospice and a community palliative care team.

Eligibility

Training Plan

In-patient care of patients with cancer and advanced stages of other diseases
Visits to hospice services and community hospital palliative care services
Research projects (if undertaken) should be completed within 3 - 6 months
Participate in monthly journal club meetings and teaching sessions
Participate in oncology grand round
Participate in subspecialties multidisciplinary tumour boards
Participate in multidisciplinary team meeting and mortality round for Division of Supportive and Palliative Care
